In The name of God Amen The Fifteenth day of December in the Nyne and Twentieth a yeare of the Raigne of our Sovereigne Lord King Charles the Second of England etc. Annoq Domini One Thousand Six Hundred and Seaventy and Seaven  I Mary Harris of Cosgrave in the County of Northampton widdow (Thanks be given to god for the same) And knowing the uncertainty of this life And being desirous to settle things in Order Doe  make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following First and principally I Commend my soule to Almighty God my Creator assuredly believing That I shall attain a full pardon and free remission of all my sins And to be saved by the precious death and merritts of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ And my body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried in Christian and decent manner (by my executor of hereinafter named) in the parish churchyard of Cosgrave aforesaid nothing doubting but att the generall Resurrection I shall retain the same againe by the mighty power of God And as touching such worldly Estate which the Lord in mercy hath but lent me my will and meaning is the same shall be employed and bestowed as hereafter by this my will is Expressed And First I will that all those debts which in Right or cons….  I doe owe unto any person whatsoever shall be paid by my Executor within Convenient time after my decease Item I do give and bequeath forty Shillings to the poore of the parish of Cosgrave aforesaid To be distributed by my Executor and Overseers (To the poorest persons they shall think most fit) att an particular time within Six months after my decease Item I doe give and bequeath to my Cosen Richard Coales the elder of Leackhamstead in the County of Bucks yeoman the Summe of Five pounds To be paid unto him within Twelve months after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto Richard Fuller the Eldest sonne of Henry Fuller late of Cosgrave deceased A Table and Frame and a Bedsteede now standing in my Parlor in the house where I now dwell Item I give and bequeath unto John Fuller and Henry Fuller younger sons of the said Henry Fuller deceased Five pounds a piece to be paid unto them within Twelve months after my decease And if either of them dye before the said Twelve months are expired Then I give and bequeath the legarcie of him soe dying unto the Survivor of them Item I do give and bequeath unto Sarah Rand the daughter of Gabryell Rand of Cosgrave aforesaid yeoman Five pounds To be paid unto her within Twelve months next after my decease Item I doe give and bequeath unto Anne Rand one other daughter of the said Gabryell Rand a Featherbedd a Flockbedd a Feather Boulster a Coverlett One Blankett and one paire of Sheets within a month after my decease Item my will is That my Executor shall disburse and layout the summe of Six pounds in necessaries for my Funerall Item I doe give and bequeath unto the Ringers att my Funerall Seaven shillings over and above the summe of Sixpounds I have appointed to be expounded then And of this my will I doe make and ordaine my loving Friend James Rand sonne of the said Gabriell Rand my full and whole Executor And if it shall please God he dye before me Then I doe make and ordaine Thomas Rand another of the sonnes of the said Gabriell Rand my full and whole Executor Desiring and alsoe Charging him to whom the Executorship of this my will shall happen to performe the Trust reposed in tham And I doe nominate and appoint my Loving Friends Gabryell Rand aforesaid and Peter Tylar of Old Stratford in the parish of Forthoe and County of Northampton aforesaid victualler To be the Overseers of this my will  desiring them best assistance to any said Executor And to see that my Executor perform my will in all things And for their care and paines I soe give and bequeath unto each of them Five pounds To be paid to them within Six months next after my decease And I doe hereby utterly disallow Revoke annull and make void All and every other Testament wills Legacies bequests and Executors by me in any wise before this time named willed and bequeathed Ratifying and confirming this and none other To be my Last will and Testament In witnes whereof I the said Mary Harris have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare First above written The mark of Mary Harris (Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Mary Harris as her Last will and Testament in the presence of John Lacye Edward Snoxell
