Furtho is a small parish in the Union of Potterspury, and in the hundred of Cleley, distant 2 miles north-west from Stoney Stratford. The population in 1851 was 15, and the number of acres about 486. Part of the hamlet of Old Stratford is in this parish. The Church is a small stone building, with nave, chancel, and embattlement tower; the diocese of Peterborough, and in the gift of Jesus College, Oxford. The trustees of Arnold's charity are lords of the manor.
