It should read as follows: Guil(i)elmi Bradshawe
coniunx, hic Barbara, cui(us) pulchra fuit pietas;
nobile stemma, iacet. Obiit 25o Septembris: Ætatis
suœ 21o, 1595.
The first two lines are a couplet of
Latin verse, the third line is prose.
Southwark workshop, the variety where the /S/ slopes off to the right.

Translation: Here lies Barbara, wife of William
Bradshawe, whose devotion was beautiful, whose
family was noble. She died 25 September 1595, aged 21.
