Cosgrove Church Registers

A set of early Cosgrove birth years were found from Napier's casebooks, accurate to + or - one year. These people may not have been born in Cosgrove, but they were living in Cosgrove between 1590 and 1630.
They were all born before 1621, but church baptismal records from that period have been lost. Click here

Names Index

Records gathered from other parishes which included Cosgrove inhabitants

Note: Names are not included in the above index

From about 1190 until 1752, the English used the Julian calendar, in which the year began on 25 March and finished on the following 24 March.
Thus January to March 1710 came after April to December 1710.
The Gregorian calendar (that we now use) came into effect in 1752 then commenced on 1 January.
The dates recorded here are as written in the registers.
