Bray Pery 1702

In the Name of God Amen The 20th day of October 1701 according to the Computation of ye Church of England I Bray Pery of Cosgrave in the County of Northampton miller being of perfect memory and : Rembrance praysed be God doe make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following

Viz

First I bequeathe my soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker, hoping that through the Meritous death and Passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to Receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and as for my body to be Buried in Christian burial att ye discretion of my executrix hearafter Nominated

Imprimis I give unto Cissely my wife for term of her life all my goods Chattells whatsoever upon Condition that she shall pay all my debts and Legacies and doe make her my sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament Revoking all other Wills and Testaments

In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first Above written
