In the name of God Amen I Thomas Brokesby of Furthe in the county of Northampton Esquire the 21 day of February in the 23 years of the reign of King Henry the missing I ordain and make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God and to all the blessed company of heaven and my body to be bury it where it shall please God and I bequeath to Kateryne my wife all my stuff of household Also I bequeath to the same Kateryne all my plate of silver what kind so ever it be Also I bequeath to the said Kateryn all my horse and cart and cart gear Also I bequeath to the said Kateryn all my crop that is now sown and to be sown Also I bequeath to the said Kateryn 24 kine and one bull and my swine Also I bequeath to Robert Furthe my 2 bullocks that I sold to Peter Alyff and he will not have them Item I bequeath to the same Robert 2 kine and 2 calves Item I bequeath to the same Robert 10 quarter of barley Item I bequeath to Thomas Furthe brother to Robart Furtho 10 quarter of malt Item I bequeath to Mand. my botelar 2 kine and 2 calves Item I bequeath to Kateryn my wife all other my goods and chattels not bequeathed towards the finding of Rychard and Thomas Brokesby my sons if they will rely after her Also I will that my executors pay to Sir Thomas Ball parson of Furtho 26s. and 8d. for the acre of wood in not wood And the residue of the money remaining in the hands of Henry Barton Item I ordain and make my executors my heartily welbeloved Kateryn Brokesby my wife and Thomas Furtho and Robert Furtho her sons In witness whereof I have written this my Will with my hand and subscribed my name the day and year above said
