Stained Glass Windows in Cosgrove Church

East Window - Reverend Henry Mansel D.D.

The original window above the altar was replaced in the 14 century. Part of the original pattern of windows can be seen outside.
The Mansel family dedicated the present window to the Reverend Henry Mansel D.D. who was appointed by Disraeli as Dean of St Paul's in London.
The window show Christ risen from the dead, and some of his miracles. Above, St Peter holds the keys to Heaven and St Paul holds his sword. The inscription at the bottom translates as " I am the Resurrection and the Life".
